On July 29, 2010, Saronica was attacked by an army of monsters known as the SMO, who laid siege to the city before capturing it and ruling the populace with an iron fist. During this time, The Resistance is formed to stop the SMO, led by a woman named Lily, who is kidnapped while attempting to help a man named Kou. After she is apprehended, it is discovered that the man has acquired two ancient pistols known as “Crimson,” which can destroy the monsters and their vicious leader. Kou sets out with Lily’s daughter, Yuri, to bring her back and end the evil forces that have taken over the city. Death Crimson is a light-gun game in the House of the Dead style in which the player shoots at enemies that appear on screen to save innocents from monsters. The player can also upgrade the “Crimson” pistols by shooting death flowers, transforming their firepower into machine guns, and allowing them to decimate hordes of enemies. A health meter grows in size as you successfully shoot enemies and gain experience points. When enough points are collected, the health bar will fill up; however, missing enemies or shooting civilians will deduct points.
