Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland

The first Harvest Moon game for the PlayStation 2 deviates slightly from the formula used in all of the other entries in the video game series. The objective of this particular quest is to prevent your town from being transformed into a resort in the next year. Relationship building takes precedence above financial gain, which has been the primary objective of every other Harvest Moon game released to this point. Even while you are still in charge of a farm and must be successful in the life of a farmer, the real gameplay pays players more for interacting with the other residents of the town than it does for simply working in the fields.
