Similar to Need for Speed Underground, the racing video game Juiced is located in the made-up city of Angel City and celebrates the lifestyle and culture of street racing and tuning. The game features sleek cars that can be completely customized, lightning-fast races, the ability to gain respect, and betting. The arcade mode has timed competitions, and the custom mode allows players to design their own challenges using any of the game’s unlocked vehicles and courses. The game features a total of 7.5 trillion different ways in which a vehicle can be customized, and there are 52 automobiles available to obtain from well-known automakers. You need to make progress in the career mode, which is where you create vehicles and compete in racing events to gain cash and respect. In order to unlock all of the cars, tracks, and parts, you need to make progress in the career mode. In addition to the more common circuit and point-to-point competitions, there are also “drag races,” sometimes known as “sprints,” and “show-offs,” which involve challenging maneuvers that call for highly developed driving skills.

When you have proven yourself worthy in the career mode, a few of the eight different racing crews in Angel City will make an offer to have you join their ranks. Each crew has its own unique set of problems, and the introduction of crew racing adds new gaming features. You must use the phone to schedule events, engage in gambling, and compete against other players for their cars (pink slip races). Respect for the team leader is determined by the amount of damage dealt and taken (referred to as distress, which also has an impact on the car’s performance) as well as the number of cars that are in your personal collection. You have a degree of strategic leeway in team races due to the fact that you can influence how aggressively your teammates play the game.

In the multiplayer mode, up to six players can compete in races. Additionally, pink slip races, which are dependent on the car collection from the offline career mode, are also accessible in the multiplayer game. On a server dedicated to world rankings, statistics are compiled, including record times from single-player games and a rating based on your overall performance in multiplayer games. It is possible to raise one’s rating by claiming victory against a higher-ranked player or numerous drivers in a single race.
