A group of human beings established a colony on the planet Helghan during the time period of space travel. These humans were forced to adapt to such a hostile environment that they eventually became inhuman as a result of the mutations they underwent. They eventually founded the Helghast Empire and launched an assault on the planet Vekta, which was under the hands of the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance. During this time, they developed an intense hatred for humans (ISA). While Helghast warriors advance into the planet’s boundary, ISA forces are attempting to maintain their position and devise a strategy to thwart their advance.
The first-person shooter game Killzone has a science fiction setting. The option to take control of any one of the game’s four main heroes, each of whom has its own set of advantages and disadvantages, is the defining characteristic of this video game. These characters are as follows: Templar, the balanced squad leader; Rico, who favors heavy weaponry and is on a quest for revenge; Luger, the team’s only female member and a specialist in stealth, who can access special areas; and Hakha, a half-Helghast who is able to use Helghast weapons and proximity mines.
The online multiplayer component supported a maximum of sixteen players and featured eight different maps and six different game modes. These game modes included Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Assault, Defend and Destroy, Supply Drop, and Domination. The game’s online servers have been taken offline at this point in time.
