Kya: Dark Lineage

Kya and her brother Frank have been transported into a different dimension and separated upon arriving! Kya comes into contact with the indigenous beings of this world, referred to as the Natives, and they rescue her. On the other hand, Frank is taken captive by a treacherous foe known as the Wolfens, who Brazul governs. To make matters even more difficult for Kya, she discovers that the Wolfens are the peaceful Nativs who have been captured and transformed and that Brazul is actually her long lost father! The time has come for Kya to set out on a journey that will require her to save her brother and discover a way to return the Wolfen to their natural form and vanquish Brazil. Kya: Dark Lineage is an action adventure game. You take charge of Kya and are tasked with discovering more about the vibrant new environment she’s found herself in. This bizarre environment comprises many floating islands with multiple passageways, platforms, deadly life forms, and other obstacles. Strong winds characterize several regions, and you will frequently be required to use these winds to your advantage by floating through tunnels, over gaps, or slowing your descent while you are free-falling. There is some puzzle solving as well; you’ll need to locate objects to use, hop on various platforms, buy items in the Nativ city, and more to reach new areas. You will also have to engage in frequent combat because numerous and can be located, protecting many of the regions you will pass through. You can battle with your fists and objects that can be collected (such as numerous bookies, boomerangs, combat wristbands) (such as various boomy, boomerangs, and fighting bracelets). After defeating a Wolfen, you can use a magic spell to transform it back to its Nativ form, which will then return to the Nativ city. Upon returning to the town, many of the Nativs will open a shop; as new shops are opened, you can buy new items and power-ups to help on your quest. However, some Nativs may build a challenge in the city instead of making a shop. You can earn money by betting and completing challenge objectives (or you can practice a challenge) (or you can merely practice a challenge). As you continue through the game, the plot will emerge until you are (hopefully) successful in your objective!
