Lotus Challenge

The collection includes 42 cars spanning the company’s history, including Formula One (1962 Type 25, 1978 Type 79T to 2001 Formula Lotus), Classic (1957 Seven S1 to 1986 Excel SE), and modern sports cars (1964 Competition Elan, 1980 E-spirit S2 to new Elise), as well as two concept cars designed by Lotus Engineers. Each virtual Formula One car is based on real-world Team Lotus achievements, and Lotus test drivers have thoroughly tested other models. The game also includes a brief corporate history. “Challenge” mode begins on the “Lotus test track,” where you must beat your best lap time to qualify, then choose a character from the fictional Lotus Challenge team to compete in a story-based contest that combines World Series Championship racing circuits, stunt driving, and one-on-one races. Each segment that is completed is ‘unlocked.’ “Collection” mode allows players access to every unlocked car and track. “Championship” mode includes seven different championship classes ranging from Classic to Supercars; however, only two can be used simultaneously, as the others must be ‘unlocked’ to play. Single mode allows you to play a quick game of up to 15 laps of any unlocked event, challenge, stunt, or race.
