Mahou Tsukai Kurohime

Kurohime was once a powerful, beautiful “magic gunner,” wielding the most outstanding ability and power in the world…but she used this power to defy the gods. She was cursed with the weak, useless body of a child. She is now wandering the land, looking for a way to break her curse. She narrowly escapes a gang of bandits led by a man named Onimaru and meets a mysterious fairy named Renfa, who agrees to break the curse in exchange for her assistance. Mah Tsukai Kurohime (Magic Gunner Kurohime) is a third-person action shooter based on Masanori Katakura’s manga of the same name. The story follows shortly before the manga’s first arc and follows Kurohime as she assists Renfa. The game is an arena-based shooter, similar to Virtual On or Armored Core; each fight typically begins with Kurohime facing a group of smaller enemies, followed by a much larger boss enemy. She has access to both standard bullets and several of the manga’s powerful maidan “magic bullets,” but her magic meter must recharge after each use. There is also an accessible mode in which you can play a match against the computer using a variety of characters, including well-known faces such as Zero, Asura, and Onimaru.
