Maximo: Ghosts to Glory

Oh, what a brave warrior! Yet there is so little time to enjoy it all… Why can’t a brave knight just up and leave for battle without his family and friends going absolutely bonkers? This time it won’t work. You have control over the heroic Maximo, who travels back to his kingdom only to find it in ruins when he arrives. Once one of your most trusted advisors, Achille is responsible for the evil that has befallen the land. Not only are there hordes of the walking dead roaming the countryside, but the four wise Sorceresses have also been imprisoned in different parts of the kingdom. Your girlfriend, Princess Sophia, has been coerced into marrying the scoundrel Achille, which only makes matters more complicated. Talk about your bad days! You need to assist Maximo in saving the Sorceresses, reestablishing order in the kingdom, whupping Achille’s butt, and, while you’re at it, retrieving your girlfriend! The gameplay of Maximo is similar to that of several older 2D platform games published by Capcom, such as Ghouls n Ghosts; however, the concept has been reworked for the PlayStation 2 and is presented with sharp 3D graphics. The game features numerous interactive settings as well as a large number of zombie soldiers. Maximo is a hero for the ages thanks to its time-honored gameplay that anyone can pick up and play and its stunning graphic sheen, both of which are powered by the PlayStation 2.
