Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance is a revamped and revised edition of the original Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. In this version, the player controls Solid Snake as he attempts to retrieve the Metal Gear Ray from a group of terrorists who are intent on utilizing its power for reasons that are incomprehensible.
A collection of 200 virtual reality (VR) missions are included in this spy shooter, which also includes the original game. The objectives of the missions range from eliminating specific foes and making use of specific weapons to exploring the world of Solid Snake from a variety of different perspectives and play styles, including first-person target modes and a variety of mode that includes crazy characters of varying shapes and sizes.
In addition, a variety of optional missions are provided. These missions can range from the protagonist creeping around and taking photos of locations to defusing bombs, causing complete havoc, and other activities.
