Bandai released the video game Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Never Ending Future in 2005. The game is abbreviated as “SEED.” Mobile Suit Gundam heavily inspires the gameplay: Encounters in Space; however, many changes have been made so that it fits better into the universe of this game. In contrast to E.I.S., N.E.T. is equipped to carry out missions in both air and Earth-based environments, in addition to a task designed specifically for aquatic conditions. As a consequence of this, the majority of mobile suits are unable to fly, even though it is still possible to do so. There is now a new type of armor known as Phase Shift armor, which operates analogous to that of the anime (neutralizing solid-based weaponry while providing some resistance to beam weaponry) and is denoted by a purple bar located beneath the health bar.
