Monster Attack

Monster Attack is a first-person shooter in the third-person perspective inspired by classic Western monster movies, related media, and Japanese Kaiju flicks. The player assumes the role of a member of the Earth Defense Force (EDF), a global military force, in the aftermath of a surprise worldwide extraterrestrial attack that has already eradicated all armed troops outside of Japan. The player begins the game as a soldier in the EDF. The game consists of 25 different missions, each of which can be played at one of five various difficulties (Easy, Normal, Hard, Chaos, or Inferno), and players can unlock “over 100 weapons” (111, to be exact). Armor Items discovered in levels permanently increase the character’s maximum health if the task is completed successfully. This is the same armor mechanism that was used in 2017. The game features the quickest growth in the armor of any EDF game, with four points of health added for each piece of armor picked up. In addition to that, it features a Versus mode that enables players to compete against one another in a split-screen environment, using the terrain of their choice. Ants (black, red, and a queen), Carriers, a Mothership, Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), Daroga walkers, and the Saurous, a gigantic lizard-like monster, are the several foes that appear in the game.
