NASCAR Thunder 2004 is a racing simulator developed by EA Sports and first released in 2003. It may be purchased in distinct editions for the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and personal computers. Tony Stewart, who won in 2002, is depicted on the magazine cover wearing a scowling expression to symbolize the new Grudges and Alliances feature. It was the only game that, as of the year 2002, has the reigning Winston (Sprint Cup) Champion featured on the cover of the game. The competition included the complete music of the series, an improvement from the previous game, which only featured four tracks. In addition, there is a tutorial mode that stars Richard Petty, a career mode, a season mode, a Lightning Challenge mode, and a SpeedZone mode. All of these modes are included in the game. This game is an EA Sports Bio game compatible with other EA Sports Bio games, such as Madden NFL 2004 and NCAA Football 2004. There were plans to adapt the game to the Nintendo GameCube, but those plans were scrapped because the device did not support online play.
