NBA 2K2

The basketball simulation game NBA 2K2 is the third installment in SEGA’s NBA 2K series of games. This is the first installment in the series made available on multiple gaming consoles (instead of solely for the Dreamcast). In addition to updated graphics, rosters, arenas, team uniforms, and signature moves for the 2001-2002 season, the 2K2 edition now supports zone defenses (a new NBA rule that requires players to choose whether to play man or zone defense), intercepting passes, and making adjustments and actions while the animation is in progress. You can view the statistics for a single year, the current Season, or a player’s career. The statistics are broken down for each team and player. The exhibition, Season (play an entire season together with management), Franchise (more than one Season), several arcade street modes, and the opportunity to design custom tournaments are the game modes that are included.
