There is a significant problem at Leafmore High School. The entire school has taken on a sinister appearance, eerie sounds can be heard echoing through the corridors, and some students and staff members have vanished without a trace. One courageous group of adolescents makes the decision to investigate the situation no matter what the consequences may be. They are completely unaware of the horrific circumstances that have befallen the school and everyone who is there. When there is no light, evil has power; nevertheless, if there is light, it is possible to vanquish them. Will they be able to make it through the night?
In the Solo Mode, you can pick from one of five characters, each of which has a unique personality, set of skills, and perspective. You are free to switch between the two at any moment (as long as they are still alive).
By traveling to a “gathering point” within the game, the player can also select a second person to accompany the player (as a “teammate”) to accompany the player throughout the game. The player has the ability to switch control between the first character and the second character at any time during the game, giving them access to each of their unique abilities.
There are a few primary categories of weapons that can be utilized in the game, including contact (like a baseball bat), handguns, guns, and “special” weapons that are more exotic and have greater firepower. It is not possible to use one type of gun or pistol’s ammunition in another. Ammunition is model-specific. Characters are able to trade weapons with one another, and any ammo that is discovered is kept in the group’s stocks for distribution to individual members as needed.
In addition, the player will be tasked with collecting various items such as first-aid kits, save game discs, keys, screwdrivers, and other tools. Other items are necessary for figuring out the answers to the puzzles contained within the game.
