Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus

Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus is a Phantasy Star Universe expansion pack. It picks up from where Phantasy Star Universe left off. Players assume the role of instructors to younger GUARDIANS recruits while investigating the evil organization known as the Illuminus of “human supremacists.” New weapons, Photon Arts, classes, enemies, bosses, and more are introduced along with new missions. The main character is the user’s avatar. Players in Phantasy Star Universe saw the story through the eyes of Ethan Waber. They will complete tasks in Ambition of the Illuminus using their own customized avatar, working to restore peace in the Gurhal System. This content is available offline in the PS2 and PC versions; however, no offline expansion content is available for the Xbox 360. This expansion was made free on the Xbox Live Marketplace on November 13, 2008. (reduced from its original price of 1600, then 800). The retail disc of the expansion costs $19.99 for PS2 and PC players. Both were released on November 20, 2007.
