Phantom Brave

Phantom Brave is a strategy RPG set in the African country of Ivoire. Ivoire has vast seas and numerous islands; it was once peaceful, but an ancient (and powerful) force is now threatening life in various lands. Marona, a 13-year-old orphaned girl, is the character you control in the game. Marona can communicate with phantoms, which causes resentment in others but will allow her to venture out into the world and solve the problems that arise. Marona’s guardian is a phantom named Ash; as the game progresses, other spirits with unique abilities will join your party. The combat system in the game is turn-based. During the battle, Marona can attack enemies alone and summon phantoms from her party to assist her. To summon phantoms, you must confine them to a screen object (such as a rock or tree). Once confined to an object, you can control the ghost in battle, though phantoms can only be held for a limited number of turns. The thing in which you confine a spirit will affect its abilities; for example, a rock may make it stronger but slower to move. By defeating your opponents in battle, you gain experience points to level up and become more powerful.
