The multi-angle bullet hell shooter Phase Paradox was an early release for the PlayStation 2 and a sequel to the early PSX game Philosoma. Exploration in a traditional survival horror manner is accomplished through fixed third-person camera viewpoints. These sections are broken up by cinematics, which a yes-or-no option mechanic occasionally punctuates.
