Pirates: Legend of the Black Buccaneer

Francis Blade, a notorious pirate, survives a shipwreck only to find himself washed up on the mystical island of La Borgne. He finds an amulet in a cave that enables him to change into Black Buccaneer, a cursed pirate with magical voodoo powers. He can do this, thanks to the charm. He must figure out how to get off the island, get the necessary supplies to fix his ship, and engage in combat with the witch La Borgne, who is protecting the treasure she has amassed over the years. The action takes place from a third-person perspective, much like in recent Prince of Persia games. In the Caribbean setting of Francis Blade’s story, he fights his adversaries with his sword, rifle, and magic. In addition, many riddles depend on the environment that involve acrobatic skills. The region has been broken up into 18 primary divisions, not all immediately accessible to visitors. The blade must acquire new powers to transform into his Black Buccaneer form. Once he does so, he can take control of his foes or call minions. He is defeating foes’ awards points, which can be used as an offering to the voodoo god for the game to continue after Blade has perished.
