After they have rescued everyone and everything in the world, what happens to the heroes? Going Commando chronicles the adventures of Ratchet and his robotic sidekick Clank as they travel across the universe to stop the next deadly menace. This post-adventure adventure takes place after the events of the last adventure.
The action platformer Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando is played from the third-person perspective, and the primary objective of the game is to detonate various explosive devices. The player is given access to a brand-new armory of weapons, in addition to several fan-favorite weapons from the previous games. The game has an experience system similar to that of role-playing games, which allows players to level up their weapons and transform them into stronger forms. In addition to the traditional platforming challenges, there are further aspects such as space combat, arenas populated by monsters, and races using hovercraft.
