Red Card 2003 is Midway’s soccer game released as part of its extreme sports franchise. The strategy is much like NFL Blitz or NHL Hitz, so get used to that. In the most authentic of Midway’s intense sports games from 2003, players compete for one of 32 international teams after selecting from among those available. The gameplay in this video game is very similar to actual soccer, right up until you bring one of your rivals to the ground with a headbutt. Although it does not go as far as most of Midway’s hard-hitting games, it is unquestionably more comparable to Midway’s intense sports games than a conventional simulation.
