Based on the well-known film Reservoir Dogs by Quentin Tarantino, this video game fills in the gaps that the movie leaves open by expanding upon events that are only fleetingly mentioned (like the robbery at the jewelry store). Throughout the narrative, you can assume the role of each of the seven principal protagonists, from Mr. Blonde to Mr. White. The missions are introduced by cutscenes that are generated by the game engine. These cutscenes frequently recreate moments from the movie. For instance, in the first mission, you play Mr. Blue as the police arrive at the jewelry store just as Mr. Pink is about to deliver his famous monologue, “I don’t think we got set up, I know we got set up!” Your objective in this mission is to escape the store without being captured by the authorities. You can either be a psychopath and shoot your way out of the situation or try the more subtle approach where you don’t hurt anyone. For instance, if you do not want to cause harm to anyone, you could take a hostage, then threaten the police to drop their weapons, and then order them to face the wall. This would accomplish your goal of not causing harm to anyone. The majority of the missions require you to walk through them, but there are a few that need you to drive a vehicle. Much like the Hitman series, the game evaluates your performance after each mission based on how well you completed it.
