Phantasy Star: Generation 1 is, in all practical respects, a remake of the game’s initial release on the Sega Master System in 1987. It is highly similar to the first game but has been upgraded with a new battle system, improved graphics, a new soundtrack, and many gameplay adjustments to align it with more modern role-playing games (RPGs).
