Phantasy Star Generation: 2 is a remake of the game Phantasy Star II and is included in Sega Ages 2500 Volume 17: Phantasy Star Generation: 2. The two games are very similar to one another. In the same way as the first “generation,” this one has had its graphics and sounds modernized, and it has also undergone a lot of changes to bring it into step with more contemporary role-playing games.
A version of Phantasy Star II on the Mega Drive that has been emulated is also included (the Japanese version).
