This is a remake of the iconic SEGA racing game Virtua Racing, which was one of the first (if not the first) games to have polygonal graphics.
V.R. Virtua Racing -FlatOut- brings the original arcade classic to the PlayStation 2, with newly made graphics that take advantage of today’s polygon-pushing power and shading effects. This is accomplished by improving the models and adding heat and distortion effects, all while maintaining the flat-shaded look of the original. It allows a maximum of two players in a competitive mode and comes with three different tracks and cars.
