戦国BASARA2 Sengoku BASARA 2 is the sequel to the first Sengoku BASARA game, released on July 27, 2006, for the PlayStation 2 by Capcom. When its expansion game Sengoku BASARA 2 Heroes was released in 2007 for PlayStation 2 and Wii, the Wii version came with a port of this game. Sengoku Road After 100 kills, the player gains one level of the Sengoku Drive, which is added to their inventory (max. 3, though current capacity depends on character level). The character can enter the drive state if there is at least one level of the Sengoku Drive. While in that state, nature glows yellow (redder if a higher level of drive is present), and their attack and (except for Nhime) attack speed increase. However, the attack speed of skills is unaffected. The character cannot be stunned (except by a Basara attack) or knocked out (at least 1 point of life will remain after and during enemy combos). At higher levels, activating Sengoku Drive causes the character to stay in that state longer. However, it should be noted that AI characters can also enter this state. Instead of having to defeat 100 enemies, a bar will fill up when that character is attacked by the player (the rate depends on the complexity) and will begin to gradually fill up after taking enough damage, entering level 1 drive state when it is complete. Except for not being KO’ed, the AI gains all of the effects of the drive state. Basara Fever is triggered whenever the player performs 500 hits in a combo. When this happens, the player receives an item box, and the character enters the level one drive state. This drive does not deplete the Sengoku Drive inventory. Basara Fever is also contributing to the title’s popularity.
