Sengoku Basara X is a spin-off of the Sengoku Basara series that was produced by Arc System Works in the style of their one-on-one fighting games. Arc System Works was well-known at the time for the Guilty Gear series, which they had developed. It is an updated version of the arcade game with the same name, and the new features include a challenge mode as well as Kojr Katakura and Hanbei Takanaka, who were previously support-only characters.
