Shining Tears

Shining Tears is a classic action role-playing game set in the Shining universe (previous games include Shining in the Darkness and the Shining Force Trilogy). You play Xion, a hero drawn into saving Shilidia from a formerly peaceful neighbor because he possesses the powerful Twin Dragon Rings. This sets the stage for an epic RPG storyline filled with memorable characters and unexpected twists. Players can choose from eight unlockable companions, each with unique powers, strengths, and weaknesses, and are presented in beautiful hand-drawn 2D graphics and backgrounds. Furthermore, the co-op system allows two players to work together in battle, performing special combo moves and leveling up their characters. Due to the nature of the Twin Dragon Rings, the companion you choose changes Xion to the opposite soul, dark or light, with corresponding powers. Single players can also rely on their companion AI to escape sticky situations.
