Shooting Love: Trizeal

A sci-fi first-person shooter with a vertically scrolling format that was taken straight from the arcade version.

Trizeal is a side-scrolling shooter that employs polygonal graphics but keeps the gameplay entirely two-dimensional. You take control of two miniature starfighters and attempt to clear a number of stages that are filled with hostile spacecraft and creatures who are out to get you.

You have the ability to transform your ship into one of three distinct configurations, each of which has its own speed and armor as well as a distinct weapon system (a standard machine gun, homing missiles, and a laser). By picking up power-ups, you can upgrade each form and increase its abilities, and the goal of the game is to maintain your ship in such a way that it is resilient enough to survive regardless of the circumstances.

Includes a one-of-a-kind Bonus mode that has additional stages that were not in the arcade version, as well as gameplay that can be played cooperatively by two players.
