SingStar: Apres Ski Party 2 is a selection of songs appropriate for parties, much like its predecessor. A few pieces listed here were hits worldwide, despite most being in Germanuage and beingg exclusively successful in German-speaking territory. The gameplay remains the same; the player (or players) will sing into a microphone, and the game will award points based on how well they perform. The only criterion for evaluation is whether or not the right note is struck at the proper time; the octave or the words being sung have no bearing on the outcome. Both the SingStore, an online catalog where extra songs can be downloaded, and complete voice controls in the game’s menus are supported in the PlayStation 3 version of the game.
