SingStar: Rocks!

Players of SingStar games must match their vocals to the beat of the music to accumulate points. SingStar microphones are used as how players interact with their respective consoles while a music video plays in the background. The pitch players are expected to sing, represented on the screen by horizontal grey bars that function analogously to a musical stave. The lyrics corresponding to the pitch are shown at the bottom of the screen. The game evaluates each participant’s singing by comparing pitch and timing to the original track. Players earn points based on how closely their song rendition matches the original. This fundamental pattern might look slightly different depending on the mode you play SingStar, but the game’s core concept is always the same.
