The manga and anime series Soul Eater served as inspiration for the development of the 3D versus fighting game Soul Eater: Battle Resonance, which is played from a side-view perspective and has 3D graphics. The Death Weapon Meister Academy is the central focus of this video game, which takes place in the fictitious city of Death City, Nevada, in the United States. The academy is managed by Shinigami.
The game can be played either on your own or against other players in either an adventure mode or a vs mode. Characters such as Maka Albarn and Soul Evans, Black Star and Tsubaki Nakatsukasa, Death the Kid with Liz Thompson and Patty Thompson, Crona and Ragnarok, Sid Barrett and Mira Naigus, Ox Ford and Harvard D. Éclair, Franken Stein, Blair, Medusa Gorgon, Free, Mifune, Death, and Excalibur can be controlled by the player. Other playable characters include Excalibur. Every one of the combatants is able to sprint, jump, and execute their own unique fighting methods, which may include special assaults. Battles can take place between individuals or between teams.
