EyeToy: Operation Spy is the pinnacle of spy training, immersing players in a world of worldwide espionage and covert observation. Players can choose from a variety of covert missions. Players are given a compelling backstory before being invited to join the SIA (Strategic Intelligence Agency) and given the mission of bringing a global organization of heinous criminals to justice. Gameplay and Surveillance are the two distinct modes that are available in EyeToy: Operation Spy. In the gameplay mode, players have the opportunity to join the SIA and receive training in order to become skilled spies. Your abilities as a secret agent will be put to the test as you complete a variety of missions, including deciphering codes, skydiving, disposing of devices, conducting criminal profiles, and using high-tech equipment to zoom into locations via satellite in order to uncover criminal masterminds who are planning to take over the world. In order to covertly record video of unauthorized individuals using the EyeToy USB camera, the sophisticated security system known as “Surveillance mode” can be activated. It can be set up to monitor a room in a non-active manner, in which case it will activate the playback of a pre-recorded warning message on the television screen. Alternatively, it can be set up to covertly record a person from the moment they enter the area, or it can enable players to set up a perimeter system within a room that will protect certain areas or objects.
