Taito Memories Gekan, the second installment, was released on August 25, 2005. It was re-released under two different budget labels, the first on the Taito BEST label on July 9, 2006, and the second on the Eternal Hits label on June 28, 2007. Qix, Elevator Action, Front Line, The New Zealand Story, and Gun Frontier are among the included titles that are locked and can only be accessed by entering a code in the title screen – reprints of the game would have these games available from the start. Both RayStorm and G-Darius’ ports are PlayStation versions rather than arcade releases. Gekan Space Invaders is one of the games included in Taito Memories.
