Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus is the sequel to the updated beat them up released in 2003. The game sends the turtle quartet on another adventure from the series’s second season. For the first time, it features a 4-player multiplayer mode that allows the entire team to work together. Each turtle now possesses a one-of-a-kind ability and specific fighting moves tailored to its personality. These abilities may include operating switches and computers, relocating or destroying stationary objects, or both. Players can switch between different turtles at any time while playing the game’s single-player mode to complete the various challenges. There are competitions involving the turtles, which occur on multiple terrains and can be found throughout certain levels. Players can uncover hidden items, abilities, and power-ups as they progress through the game. One of these is the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game, released in the late 1980s.
