The Fast and the Furious

This game includes a variety of different competitions, some of which take place on the Wangan and others of which take place on the local mountain roads known as Touge. On the Wangan, two different kinds of races can take place: Top Speed Battles, in which the winner is determined by who can set the highest speed record between the start and finish, and Destination Races, which are straightforward point-to-point competitions. The Touge also includes two rounds: the Grip and Drift Battles. The Grip Battles consist of a point-to-point race that travels uphill or downhill while navigating tight hairpin turns. The winner of the Drift Battles is the competitor who accumulates the most points by the end of the run. Various exits can lead to hotspots scattered across the Wangan. These hotspots include places where Wangan races can be initiated, tours, car dealerships, tune shops, and robot garages. The movie “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” included a scene in which these garages played a role.
