Fans of first-person action games and history will enjoy the opportunity presented by Civil War: Secret Missions to put themselves in the shoes of Union and Confederate soldiers as they engage in combat behind enemy lines during iconic Civil War battles. The game’s objective is for the player to cause chaos among the armies of the North and the South by any means possible. This may involve cutting off enemy supply lines, robbing enemy ironclad ships, or sabotaging enemy strongholds. Participate in some of the most well-known engagements of the American Civil War, such as “The Great Train Raid of 1861” and “The Fall of Vicksburg,” while making use of iconic firearms from the period, such as “the pepperbox revolver” and “the coffee mill gun.” You will fight as a member of Mosby’s Rangers, Sheridan’s Scouts, and Grant’s Secret Service, and you will receive your mission commands from famous generals such as Robert E. Lee, “Stonewall” Jackson, and Ulysses Grant. All of the missions are based on the actions of prominent partisans, scouts, and rangers.
