The storyline of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is identical to that of the film. The player takes control of Rick O’Connell or his son, Alex, from a third-person viewpoint, depending on the mission. The gameplay of the game includes platforming, solving puzzles, and engaging in combat, and there are a total of six levels to play through. The platforming segments of the game, which have been compared to those of the Tomb Raider series, provide the player the opportunity to engage in various acrobatic maneuvers, such as jumping or shimmying along the edges of obstacles. The player must also avoid hazards and traps, such as saws that rotate or debris that falls from above. During fights, the game allows the player to switch between hand-to-hand combat and gun combat. The player is equipped with various melee attacks that can be employed against foes and can also avoid getting hurt by foes’ strikes. The gunfighting system has a lock-on function; the player can use pistols, shotguns, or Tommy guns. In addition, players will have the opportunity to solve puzzles by deciphering hieroglyphics. You can uncover more content, such as concept art, by finding and collecting artifacts concealed throughout the game’s levels.
