Electronic Arts Tiger Woods PGA Tour franchise’s 2007 multi-platform edition is this golf simulation game. Although the game’s features vary by platform, most notably from next-generation to current-generation, it has a few things in common: more licensed players, more courses, more game modes, and improved GameFace character creation. The all-new Universal Capture (UCAP) technology in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 on Xbox 360 and PS3 allows for more realistic characters. UCAP is the same technique used to create digital doubles for the lead actors in The Matrix films. Another feature shared by the Xbox 360 and PS3 that is exclusive to the next generation is larger crowds and mass movement of spectators from hole to hole, as well as PIP cameras. There is also a new Practice Facility where you can hone your skills in an enhanced career mode. The golfers have a new animation state engine that generates more relevant emotions and reactions based on gameplay. The game setup has been changed, with different swing styles and the Speed Golf setting, which allows players to move on to the next shot after the ball has been struck without having to watch where the ball lands. The PS2 and Xbox versions of the game include a new team tour mode in which you can assemble your team of golfers to compete against Team Tiger Woods. The game’s PC, PS2, and Xbox versions have the most licensed golfers (21). The Wii edition of the game allows you to control your swing with the Wiimote.
