The comic book Titeuf served as the inspiration for the creation of the French party game known as Méga compet. Up to four players choose a character from a pool of ten, set a difficulty level, and participate in a variety of minigames such as hockey-crotte, bombe glavonique, dinausaure explosif, techerno-débile, and Zik machine. The video game has appearances from more than 85 of the characters who appeared in the comic books. Six of the minigames in the PlayStation 2 version are compatible with the EyeToy accessory.
In one of the minigames, the characters have to make their way to the front of the classroom without attracting the attention of the instructor. There is a brief opportunity to relocate to a desk in the back of the room before she turns around. The moment she notices you, the figure gets relocated to the very last row of the classroom. Another one is a chase scene around the city that takes place in a side-scrolling perspective and has a man who is after you after you eat a nasty lunch. The video game features a huge number of cinematics as well as three-dimensional hub environments that are rendered in three dimensions. The major game types are termed l’année scolaire (the school year), duels, méga duels, duels de la death and méga balaise.
