UEFA Euro 2008

EA Sports has released another football game, UEFA Euro 2008. This time, it’s essentially FIFA 08 modified to allow the player to experience the summer European Championship. Euro 2008 will enable you to control any European national football team in various ways. For example, you could create your character and excel at your position on the field to one day captain your team. This is a slightly modified version of FIFA 08’s “be a pro” mode. You can also try different challenges and tournament modes to unlock extras or test your skills. You can play the entire championship, including the qualifying rounds, or skip ahead to the group stages. You can also play a lengthy challenge mode in which you attempt to make your nation the best in European football by completing various challenges against all other European teams. The PC and console versions, like FIFA 08, are pretty different. They use entirely different game engines. While the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions feature cutting-edge graphics and a new and improved control system, the PC version still looks and functions like the 2006 version.
