The player controls his character in the adventure game Woody Woodpecker: Escape from Buzz Buzzard Park, played in the third person and takes place in an environment modeled in computer graphics and real-time 3D. The camera is placed behind or around the figure, and the player navigates the background using the controls for his character. [2] The game features a total of twenty-one different platform-style stages. [2] Your ability to advance through the game is primarily dependent on your skill and agility in overcoming challenges as they appear (to climb walls, bridge chasms, etc.) or in manipulating things to remove barriers that prevent you from moving on to the next level (Woody sometimes needs to use its beak to that effect). [2] When Woody needs to skip a cross, he indicates in advance the specific position where it is about to fall, which allows him to aim for the greatest possible outcome. [2] In addition, there is a fight against Buzz Buzzard’s supporters in the game. Woody can attack in various ways, including with its beak and special attacks. [2] In addition to playing as Woody Woodpecker himself, the player can play as either Knothead or Splinter once Woody has found one of them. [3]
