WRC 4: The Official Game of the FIA World Rally Championship is the fourth installment in the WRC video game series. This game has all of the official rallies, drivers, and cars from the 2004 season.
The game offers the player the opportunity to compete in three different game modes: a championship format, a short racing mode, and a time trial option. Players also have the option to participate in the Pro Driver Challenge, which allows them to simulate a career in WRC by competing in the most important events that a driver must face on his or her way to the top of the sport. In addition to this, a whole new category of race known as the Super Special has been added. The player competes against another rally car in a two-lane event that takes place across the super special stage in this one-of-a-kind rally event.
