Quest for Fame – Be a Virtual Rock Legend was released for PC in 1995 and for Playstation in 1997. Quest for Fame features music from rock band Aerosmith and casts players in the role of an aspiring guitar player whose dream is to make it to the top.
The outcome of the game is determined by the player’s ability as judged by a cast of animated characters. If you’re good, you’ll play in front of thousands of screaming fans, if you’re bad, you’ll play at the low-class Polyester Lounge.
