The Need for Speed: Carbon – Own the City game you are currently playing is not like its predecessors, even though both versions carry the same name. Neither canyon racing nor drift is racing like in the other game versions. The racing occurs in urban environments, much like the open world in Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The tuner culture and automobile customization features introduced in Need for Speed Underground also continue. As the player advances through the game and takes control of new areas and chapters, a simple storyline is revealed in comic book-style images.
