Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary

At Primp Town Magic School, it’s Tournament Day! And the prize is fit for a true Puyo master: a special Puyo Medal that grants the bearer a desire of their choosing. All of the Primp Town kids have arrived and are ready to go… But hold on! What exactly is this? Six comets that look strangely similar! In Puyo Puyo’s 15th Anniversary, 22 Puyo poppers (six return from the Compile Puyo series) compete for Puyo bragging rights. The game is mostly the same – match four Puyos in a row to swallow up your opponent in an avalanche of Nuisance Puyos. But the rules change with each new opponent, with a slew of additional modes (along with the fundamental ways from the original two “Puyo” games and “Puyo Pop Fever”) ready to put your Puyo talents to the test. In addition to the classic story mode, in which a single player takes on eight other characters in the hopes of obtaining the medal, there is also the traditional combat mode, in which up to four people (eight on the DS version) battle it out to the death (either alone or in teams).
