Puyo Puyo Fever 2

A follow-up game to Puyo Puyo Fever was a next-generation re-imagining of the classic arcade puzzle game Puyo Puyo. In this game, you compete against either artificial intelligence or a player-controlled opponent to see who can best stack and arrange the falling blobs (or “payos”) in the correct color patterns that allow you to send “garbage” payos to the opposing player and help flood him and cause him to lose. The game features a single-player arcade mode and a story mode that lets you play as one of three unique characters and campaigns that take you all around the game world and pit you against various adversaries. The “fever” meter from the previous game is back (this meter increases the number and abilities of the garbage puyos you send depending on how many guys you chain in succession), and a new ranking system has been implemented that awards you money that you can use between stages to buy special items that modify the game rules in your favor. Both of these features can be found in the new game.
