Since this hack is for the Pokémon Emerald Version, the entire thing is going to be in French. The narrative of the game has not changed in any way. The revisions focus mostly on the Pokémon themselves, as well as their encounters, evolutions, and the process of learning their attacks.
- Minidraco, Kraknoix, and Draby are the three Pokémon that make up the Starter set.
- You do not need to use evolution stones or trade Pokémon in order to have access to all of the Pokémon from the first three generations in a single edition.
- The Pokémon that evolved as a result of the trades will now evolve as they gain levels, as follows: Kadabra will evolve at level 36, Machopeur will evolve at level 40, Spectrum will evolve at level 36, etc….
- Previously, Pokémon evolved based on their happiness or their attractiveness; currently, they evolve based on their level.
- Pokémon that evolved via the use of stones likewise evolve through the use of levels, with the exception of Eevee, which evolves through the use of stones.
- There have been some adjustments made to the Maps, and two new ice/fire caverns have been added.
- The champions have all obtained new Pokémon, and their level caps have been increased in preparation for tougher battles.
If you are unable to find a way out of the cave:
- Use the ‘Ctrl S’ key to make a manual save of your game as soon as you are in front of a cave, and then exit the game.
- Start up Pokémon Emerald (the authentic French version, not the hacked one), which you should have already downloaded in advance.
- If you have not previously done so, make sure that you remember to set the save type in the options to 128 ko (emulator/save type).
- After manually loading the game from your modified version using the “Ctrl L” key, proceed to the cave (you will notice that the cave is the original, logical…). You carry on playing your game on Emerald (the actual one) until you are able to emerge from the cave.
- You must save the game manually and use caution when doing so on the same save file as the hack.
- Exit the game and go back to the hacking menu (Pokemon Pale).
- Remember to load the save game you just created (Ctrl L).
