OLD MAUVILLE’S TRAGEDY EXPLODES: A CATASTROPHE LET LOOSE
However, peace is interrupted in an unanticipated way when catastrophe hits. An enormous explosion destroys historic Mauville, sending out waves of dangerous radiation. The crystal is promptly transferred to a hidden facility in Colen, where it will be guarded as a top-secret weapon. All West Hoenn, including sleepy Littleroot Town, has been evacuated because of the dangerous situation.
THE BEGINNING: THE TEN-YEAR EVOLUTION OF THE COLEN REGION
After ten years of calling the Colen Region home, you embarked on an incredible journey. You enter the world with your Pokémon companion, eager to discover everything it offers. But fate has other plans. This is where Team Void comes in, a shadowy criminal organization with ties to the “lost” Shadow Crystal. The missing father of the story’s protagonist, Shenow, is among the souls trapped in the crystal after Darkrai’s rampage, as is revealed when the villains’ dark plot is revealed.
TEAM VOID’S EVIL PLAN TO RULE THE WORLD
The sinister Team Void intends to grab the crystal, aiming to utilize its power alongside Darkrai to conquer the entire globe. Your job is to foil their evil plot and bring peace back to Colen and, who knows, maybe the whole globe. History may hold the key to ending this anarchic rebellion, as echoes from the past hint at a solution reminiscent of the Brave Rangers from 2008.
