Report on Monster Scouting: In this turn-based role-playing game, players may recruit wild monsters to form a squad and fight against other players as Monster Scouts. Monster scouts from all over the world come each year to compete for the world’s top scout title. The players crash land on a strange island after lightning strikes their airship. They must fight numerous foes with their monster groups to find their lost passengers and crew members. The only way to leave the island is to solve its multiple secrets.
• In Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2, a spinoff of the fan-favorite Dragon Quest core series, you may become the world’s best Monster Scout. Players scout and gather monsters to form a fighting squad.
• When a player’s party encounters other monsters during combat, they can use their scouting talents to try to recruit other creatures. A meter on the top screen displays gamers’ likelihood of scouting a monster.
• The greater the number, the more likely the monster will join a player’s group. There are around 300 distinct creatures to scout and synthesize. Players may build new, more powerful monsters by combining two different creatures. More than 240 skill trees may be used to personalize these creatures. Some monsters from past Dragon Quest games return, while others are all new.
• Monsters level up in combat to gain new talents and grow more powerful.
• Using a local wifi connection, players may pit their monster teams against one another. They may also connect to a Nintendo wifi connection utilizing a broadband Internet connection to combat other gamers.
• The WiFi World Tournament pits gamers against monster teams from all over the world.
• The game has several Tag Mode features that allow users to connect and exchange data with other players:
• Monsters from Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation and Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies can be scouted by players who connect via Tag Mode with owners of those games.
• Players that link with other Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 players via Tag Mode can battle against them and scout their monsters without impacting their games.
