Video game developer Zed Two’s offering in the turn-based tactical shooter genre is titled Future Tactics: The Uprising. This colorful, turn-based shooter was formerly known as Pillage. It spent several years in development before being picked up by Crave for a release in the United States, followed shortly after by JoWood for a release in Europe. It contains a tale written by Paul Rose, who previously created the video game page Digitiser for Channel 4’s Teletext, and the gameplay is quite similar to that of the Worms 3D games. Craters and other damage effects can be seen across the battlefields because the game’s geo-mod system allows nearly anything to be destroyed. It was available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and Windows platforms. After Tiger Telematics filed for bankruptcy, the Gizmondo version was shelved as a potential product option.
